Yes. ESU's Teachers College and all MS in C&I concentrations are accredited by CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation). Emporia State University also holds regional accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Both accreditations are recognized by state education agencies and school districts, helping you qualify for tuition reimbursement while earning a master’s degree and salary schedule advancement after graduation.
Total tuition is $11,319 for all concentrations ($343 per credit hour, $1,029 per course); fees included. Tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state students. Pay by the course and align your education costs with your district’s tuition reimbursement schedule. For students with previous graduate-level coursework related to the degree, transferring up to nine credit hours can reduce your total cost by approximately $3,087. ESU also participates in federal financial aid programs.
Admission requirements include a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the last 60 credit hours (or a completed master's degree with a 3.0 GPA) and official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. No GRE is required. Up to nine transfer credit hours may be accepted.
Depending on your concentration, an MS in C&I can help you qualify for roles that include curriculum coordinator, curriculum director, instructional coach, teacher leader, instructional specialist, or faculty development coordinator.
